New Zealands Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) are looking for trade-qualified, registered Electrical Tradespersons to join our Casting & Logistics breakdown maintenance team. This roster is a 4 on 4 off shift rotation (days on include 2x days and 2x nights) which attracts a generous roster allowance.
Every hour of every shift, your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. We do the work only if it is safe, and we invest to make sure every member of the team has the quality tools they need to do their job.
Reporting to our Crew Leaders and Superintendents, youll join our close-knit, proud and hardworking teams following a structured process to optimise preventative maintenance tactics and minimise overall business costs, identifying and conducting planned and unplanned repair and diagnostic work within production time constraints on a wide variety of equipment.
Your unwavering commitment to the safety of yourself and your team will see you promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes and behaviours. You will have opportunity to utilise your strong problem-solving skills to add value through identifying and implementing improvement initiatives and applying robust defecting elimination practices
