Description

Our client located in the Conroe area is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team on a contract to full time basis. The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of Accountants and assess staff performance, provide feedback, and create goals and procedures for their division. Evaluate financial documents for inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Oversee financial information for the organization, including tax information, budget and cost reports, and audits. This employee will play a role in hiring, training, and retaining accounting staff, as well as train new employees on the organization’s procedures, reporting requirements, and other accounting methods. The employee also will evaluate the progress of employees and recommend additional training if necessary. This position will report to the Owner, the hours are fulltime in office Monday-Friday. Requirements

Education | Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred but not required

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred

• Must possess excellent leadership skills

• QuickBooks software is required
