Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with financial policies, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and data entry into the accounting system.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with nonprofit financial policies and procedures.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
