We are seeking an organized and aware individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in various tasks related to financial, data management, and some administrative duties for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing accounts payable, including administrative expenses such as office supplies, equipment, and related purchases. Training will be provided on all AP functions.
Foster and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure transactions are accurate, prompt, and within our budget.
Responsible for data entry tasks, and extracting necessary data from Paycor and Great Plains.
Even though we have shifted mostly to paperless operations, there is still the responsibility of collecting and organizing physical checks. This role also involves the preparation of the check run process.
Participate in several administrative tasks. These include administering payroll, handling benefits and insurance matters, and answering the employees’ inquiries about these topics (assistance from outside consultants is available to help answer complex questions).
Responsible for the processing of paper mail and the creation of cash receipts.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines. While prior experience in accounts payable or similar roles would be advantageous, newcomers are encouraged to apply as comprehensive training will be provided.

Experience: New graduates or individuals with 1+ year(s) of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Education: No specific educational prerequisites. However, a demonstrated understanding and experience in accounting is essential. The candidate should showcase their ability to pick up new skills quickly and be ready to learn.
Independence: This role requires a candidate who can operate independently. Without micromanagement, the candidate should be capable of handling their responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Soft Skills: We highly value candidates who demonstrate strong soft skills, including being hardworking and determined to grow and learn within the accounting field.
Trainability: While we don’t require any specific skills or proficiencies, we’re more than happy to train candidates who exhibit eagerness and enthusiasm to learn.
