Description Robert Half has a bookkeeper role available in the Automotive industry on a permanent basis. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals are needed for an exciting Bookkeeper opportunity. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. Likewise, the Bookkeeper is responsible for a full cycle A/P, data entry, cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Your responsibilities in this role

• Sustain a general ledger

• Corroborate monthly accounting close

• Ready subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement

• Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

• Arrange cash flow projections, as needed

• Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation

• Alternative special projects as requested

• Lead Accounts Receivable

• Manage Accounts Payable

• Manage monthly accounting close

• Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents Requirements – Ability to meet deadlines

• Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

• Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Deep understanding of account reconciliation

• Foundational knowledge in data entry

• Command of bookkeeping

• Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Progressive accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
