This position’s duties involve a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. The clerk’s duties will be entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This short-term contract / temporary position requires the Data Entry Clerk to be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Major responsibilities

• Working with highly confidential materials
• Reviewing customer and account source documents for deficiencies
• Following data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
• Assisting with special projects as required
• Providing support for data entry and additional administrative tasks
• Gathering, sorting, and prioritizing data for computer entry
• Adhering to policies and procedures when performing operations; reporting needed revisions
• Data Analysis experience desired
• High school diploma or equivalent obtained
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with diversified computer software and systems
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
