Your responsibilities

• Dissect actual results at the corporate and division levels

• Offer support in annual budgeting process

• Solidify and inspect budgets and income statement forecasts

• Be instrumental in the preparation of monthly financial reporting and other business data

• Help out with ensuring adequate controls and procedures

• Direct different aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)

• Contribute innovative alternatives and guidance to reduce costs and advance financial performance of a company

• Occasionally clarify complicated financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects

• Study and query a broad amounts of data

• Aid in monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

• Previous experience in assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits Requirements – Less than one year of experience is acceptable

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Command of reporting

• Deep understanding of Securities And Exchange Commission

• Analytics experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of documentation

• Earlier work involving Execute

• General familiarity with account reconciliation

• Procedure Documents experience highly desired

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehension of Analytical Skills

• Practical knowledge of financial reporting

• Foundational knowledge in Supporting Schedule

• Compliance experience highly desired

• Metric Reporting experience highly preferred

• Knowledge of Data Quality

• Hands-on experience with Mindset Software

• Adeptness in Quarterly

• Demonstrated knowledge of implementation

• Background working with Stakeholders

• Previous experience working with Templates

• Good understanding of Resolve Issues

• US GAAP experience highly valued

• Financial Statement Audits experience preferred

• Prior experience with risk analysis

• Service Providers experience desired

• Experience with Liaises

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Knowledgeable computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

• Strong attention to detail

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
