Description

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration of the Information/Cyber Security Program, implementing corporate Information/Cyber Security Awareness initiatives, managing security policies and procedures, monitoring and maintaining regulatory compliance. The Information Security Analyst is also tasked with monitoring & maintaining security systems, security IT/Business applications, supporting the Vendor Management Program, Information/Cyber Security Risk Program, Cyber Security Incident Response Policy, and information security monitoring.

Support in maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing

information/cyber security policies, procedures, and standards within all

operational areas.

Support and maintain the Information/Cyber Security Risk

Assessment program.

Support the maintenance and administration of Vendor Management

Programs.

Supporting and maintaining security systems such as

vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, and endpoint response.

Ensure that information/cyber security is adequately addressed

in the development stage of any new technology.

Ensure compliance with established information/cyber security

policies, procedures, and standards through an ongoing monitoring process.

Assist in performing on-site information security audits,

outside of normal operating hours, of all facilities.

Supporting and delivering Information/Cyber Security training of

employees throughout.

Support in review and response to third-party/internal Network

Vulnerability Assessments and Network Penetration Tests.

Extended member of Cyber Security Incident Response Team,

including the monitoring of logs and or events within the Logging Systems.

Provide Information/Cyber Security guidance and support in the

implementation of new technology regarding the protection of the

information assets.

Ensure that adequate security controls are in place and

operating effectively to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and protection

of computer systems, data, software, and hardware. Monitor and assure the data

integrity and internal security of information linked to outside sources.

Effectively communicate, implement, and monitor security

controls between the IT team and internal business units.

Responsibilities may require off site attendance at seminars or

meetings with consultants, professional or community groups.
