Description
We are in search of a Legal Administrator to join our client’s team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The selected candidate will be overseeing the legal assistants of our high-volume personal injury law firm. This role involves managing files, working closely with senior attorneys, guiding the pre-litigation settlement process, and providing leadership across various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the work of legal assistants within the firm, ensuring efficiency and productivity
• Manage and organize plaintiff injury case files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Facilitate the pre-litigation settlement process, working closely with senior attorneys and staff
• Provide leadership and direction to staff members, monitoring their progress towards set goals and objectives
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of law firm policies and procedures
• Disburse plaintiff personal injury files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Handle settlement breakdowns and percentages, ensuring all details are handled accurately and efficiently
• Utilize various software tools including Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and CompuLaw for efficient case handling
• Administer claims and manage calendars effectively, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met
• Oversee billing functions and collection processes, ensuring financial matters are handled professionally and promptly
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Legal Administrator role or similar.
• Proficient in using Aderant software for legal practice management.
• Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat for document creation and management.
• Experience in using Case Management Software for efficient handling of legal cases.
• Familiarity with CompuLaw for managing deadlines and court rules.
• Proficient in using Conveyancer software for managing real estate transactions.
• Experience in managing Benefit Functions in a legal setting.
• Demonstrated ability in handling Billing Functions within a law firm.
• Proficient in Calendar Management to ensure smooth workflow and meeting schedules.
• Experience in Claim Administration within a legal environment.
• Familiarity with Collection Processes within a legal setting.
