Robert Half is looking for candidates who want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team as a Payroll Clerk. This job will include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of functions, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. We currently have an opening for a Payroll Clerk with an industry leader. What you get to do every day

• Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
• Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals
• Craft and deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statements
• Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
• Build and run custom reports
• Comprise data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
• Build a system of administering and distributing reports

• Ability to easily learn new systems
• Strong familiarity with payroll
• Full Cycle Payroll experience
• Experience with Payroll Law
• Timekeeping System experience
• Reconcile Payroll experience
• Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Payroll software experience preferred
• Previous payroll experience
• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Experience with high volume data entry
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
