Robert Half is looking for a talented Senior Accountant for a short-term contract opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role

• Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Be a part of various department-wide initiatives

• Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests

• Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Complete other projects as required

• Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  Requirements – BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired

• Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

• Skills in financial reporting is crucial to this role

• Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

• Proficiency in Aging Reports

• Managing Budgets experience

• Prepare Journal Entries experience preferred

• Forecasting experience preferred

• Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

• Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

• SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

• Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

• Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• ERP system experience

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
