Responsibilities

• Count services and invoice for form preparation fees

• Plug in applicable data into Tax software application

• Return incoming client calls to aid with tax questions and set appointments

• Assemble transaction tax returns by hand utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

• Correspond with clients to gather important information/documents

• Conduct other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned Requirements – Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

• Data entry experience required

• Tax Preparer experience desired

• Deep understanding of E1041

• Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

• 1+ year experience preparing tax returns

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

• Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
