Capable of handling multiple and timely deliveries on a regular basis, while maintaining great customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This position starts at $18.51 / hour.
Must be 21 years of age or meet company insurance driver requirements.
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and valid CDL license.
Authorized to work within the U.S.
Will be subject to substance testing, CORI check per location requirements, and annual driving record check.
Must be well groomed, customer orientated, and capable of interacting with customers.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
Possess the ability to handle multiple store deliveries on a daily basis within a structured time frame and have ability to work a scheduled based on business needs.

Handle each delivery in a courteous, friendly manner.
Effectively communicate any problems and issues with deliveries at the time of delivery.
Communicate any delivery schedule changes (late or early) with store in a timely fashion.
Promote the company image as a service-oriented operation.
Stay in contact with the hot foods merchandiser in case of problems with deliveries or delivery times.
Check for outgoing store transfers when arriving at store locations.
Check with the store manager or person in charge for any special instructions.
Provide assistance to person checking in load.
Maintain a positive record of attendance and safety and communicate with store associates regarding problems and concerns.
Able to function in an effective manner at times of increased work demands or tight delivery schedules.
Demonstrates involvement in company by offering suggestions, comments, and recommendations when needed.
Willing to work with tough scheduling changes in route delivery during times of need.
Work efficiently and at an acceptable pace; making timely and organized deliveries.
Effectively insure proper storage and shipping of orders limiting shrink and damaged goods.
Practicing proper “on location” customer service and communication.
Responsible for notifying the hot foods merchandiser of complaints, security problems and product problems.
Obey the laws and rules of the road.
Maintain a neat and clean delivery vehicle in proper working order.
Keep accurate vehicle gas, service, temperature, and inspection logs.
Follow proper hand washing, food storage, handling procedures, safe food handling, and neat housekeeping at all times.
Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures.
Maintain a neat personal appearance including proper uniform and dress code.
Be safety conscious and correct or report any unsafe conditions you observe.
Report any damage and/or delivery vehicle problems with the hot foods merchandiser or property damage caused by vehicle or delivery equipment immediately.
Secondary Job Functions:
Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark downs or property defacement.
