Detroit – MichiganToledo – Ohio Job DescriptionRole Purpose:The SEGMENT LEADER, SEATING AND INTERIORS- TIER ONE AUTOMOTIVE, will lead the development of our go-to-market sales strategy and execution plans to achieve our sales & funnel goals. To support our strategies, this role will assist in defining portfolio & marketing requirements that differentiate RA in this highly automated industry. Success in this global market requires experience in the End-to-End, body welding processes. Equally critical is an in-depth understanding of both discrete & process applications enabled by new & innovative digital solutions. The ideal candidate will build a sales strategy to significantly grow our market presence and share. Performance will occur on a global and regional scale leveraging the candidate’s industry relationships in conjunction with extensive knowledge of RA’s portfolio of industrial automation software, services & control platforms. Driving market share and critical mass will require close collaboration with sales, marketing, business units & market access partners. This role requires well refined executive presence, industry knowledge, and strong direct & indirect leadership skills. Coupled with excellent communication & influence skills across all levels of RA and the ecosystem will enable RA & the candidate’s success. Position Summary:Drive expansion of our ability to serve and grow revenue in the Tier One Automotive Market focused on customers that provide Seating and Interior components for the Automotive IndustryProvide Sales Leadership & Guidance to Globally Strategic Accounts (End User & OEM)Creates a comprehensive long-term strategy centered around the global account(s)’ corporate objectives, financial performance metrics and key focus areas and aligns these with RA value propositions.Develop executive relationships with strategic customers positioning Rockwell Automation as a lead partner at the accountElevate Rockwell Automation’s global profile for Seating and Interiors- Tier One Automotive via thought leadership in engagement with industry and trade associations and speaking engagement at industry events.Collaborate with our Global OEM Segments, Marketing organizations, and Business Units, to develop our go-to-market and sales strategy Seating and Interiors-Tier One Automotive.Assist in defining both Industry & OEM Strategic Plans (Business Strategy Review) to include KPIs, DoWs, long term needs, opportunities & investments, by participating with the respective Global Industry resources.Establish extended team(s) of subject matter experts, segment advocates & business unit resources to drive execution of strategic initiatives & growth objectivesFacilitate a cadence of communications, collaboration, account planning and joint sales pursuit meetings to achieve objectivesEngage with key stakeholders across Rockwell Automation in identifying portfolio and capability gaps and propose solutions (organic and inorganic) that would enhance our ability to serve.
