Rod Milner Motors Looking for Mobility Adaption Team Leader/Manager at Mount Wellington, Auckland Full Time

Milner Mobility is looking for a keen, capable person to lead our adaption department fitting out mobility and specialty vehicles with a variety of equipment. We are looking for a star that strives to make a difference and deliver a premium experience for our customers.

The successful applicant may possess the following role requirements: 

– Very good people skills 

– The ability to work in a team 

– Current NZ drivers license 

– Mechanical/Electrical/Fabrication skills required, specific industry training will be provided.

– Ability to work without supervision 

– A very high standard of work quality & detail 

– Ability to handle pressure & high workloads at times 

– Reliable, fit & healthy 

All the above is not essential but would be an advantage. Ideally we are seeking an enthusiastic person with hands on experience in one or more of the following: Mechanical, Coach building, Auto Electrical, Panel Beating, Motor Trimming, Carpentry and General Fabrication/Welding. 

The ability to manage your own time and have a good record of being a productive team player is essential. The work we provide is really varied and a broad knowledge of the automotive trade is desirable. We would also consider people with a carpentry background looking for a change. The hours of work are Mon – Fri 7.30am to 4pm (can be negotiated to suit travel or family etc), and overtime is available at times so a willingness to occasionally do the extra hours in order to get the job done would be an advantage. A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
