CityTV & OMNI Television is seeking a part-time Media Content Preparations to shape and strengthen the Rogers Sports and Media brands, to work alongside our News and Entertainment Production teams in order to better engage and build our broadcast and digital audience during day to day operations.

What you will do…
Program and content ingest and routing
Maintain and edit playlists for Automation
Work with Production Engineering staff to report faults and ensure that integrity of facility is not compromised.
Be responsible for multiple incoming signals (adjacent systems, fibre optic interconnects etc.) and the transmission of the signals to multiple outputs.
Prepare content for encoding and delivery
Other duties as assigned
What you will bring…
Ability to work to exacting standards and able to handle stress related to switching of feeds is required.
Post secondary diploma in television broadcasting or related technical field experience.
Ability to monitor feeds and tape machine outputs for technical quality
Knowledge of various video tape formats and audio transmission equipment.
Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, desktop publishing.
Strong administrative skills.
Previous experience in playback an asset, as well as knowledge of broadcast equipment.
Pevious experience in traffic services, scheduling an asset.
Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekend
