About The Team

We work together to ensure our clients understand this new world of advertising, that they are making the best possible decisions to support their own goals, and drive advertiser interest and engagement across the board. The Advertising Sales team is responsible for driving ad revenue with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives.

About The Role

This role will work closely with local and global M&E (Media & Entertainment) account leads on various TV and streaming brands, helping our clients to navigate Mexico and other relevant LATAM CTV markets. This role will help continue to build the Roku M&E sales narrative in the market, advocating for our performance solutions across the entire sales funnel and drive maximum revenue with Roku’s 1st party targeting, unique ad products, performance analytics and unified reporting. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the local M&E market, excellent cross-functional relationship skills, performance sales/digital media experience and an outstanding ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Thrives on navigating ambiguity and solving new problems. He/she will join a local growing team and report to the M&E International Advertising Sales head located in Miami. This is a key hire for Roku and an incredible opportunity for the right candidate looking to advance their career with a market leader in a fast-growing market and vertical.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be a key individual contributor to M&E revenue, working against aggressive advertising revenue goals
• Expand in-market and regional M&E client advertising business and relationships, including targeting regional budgets
• Provide weekly updates and monthly/quarterly business review presentations to Roku management and M&E clients
• Help expand the local sales narrative in the Mexico market – helping clients navigate the ROKU M&E performance offering
• Collaborate and work together with our local M&E support team to provide “best-in-class” service to clients
• Gather local market insights and help curate our product suite needs, measurement solutions and reporting capabilities in the region
• Participate in sales calls and QBRs with local/regional clients and in partnership with regional/global account leads
• Bring local and regional market knowledge to our sales efforts, identifying the local market nuances and how they will impact our strategy

We’re excited if you have

• The equivalent of 3+ years of performance sales experience including performance buying models, either in a managed service or self-service environment
• An understanding of the dynamics of the OTT/SVOD/AVOD space and how Roku advertising solutions drive business goals for advertisers
• Fluency in the language of success behind performance marketing campaigns, including customer acquisition goals, retention, ROAS or cost-per-acquisition media buying
• Experience working in the M&E category in Mexico (Brazil would be a plus).
• Strong Salesforce knowledge/experience (3+ years)
• A solution-driven attitude, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Located in Mexico City (preferred) with language proficiency in Spanish and English needed. Portuguese a plus.
