Rose Ott Design Hiring for Design Assistant at Long Beach, NY Full Time
Rose Ott Design is a boutique interior design firm located in Long Beach, New York. The core values of Rose Ott Design are focused on a wellness design ethos with a mission to enrich the human experience by providing thoughtful, transparent, high quality, and accessible design in the built environment. We are seeking an in-office part-time design assistant to begin ASAP + additional hours working remotely if needed.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Research products to assist in selections of furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, etc.
Create floor plans and renderings
Assist in preparing design presentations
General office admin tasks
Assist at site visits
Qualifications:
Design experience
Detail oriented
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in SketchUp and Canva
Experience with 2020 Kitchen Design a plus
Self-starter with good time management skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to maintain strong and consistent communication through email and phone
