*Title: Senior IT Quality Assurance Lead Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Assures that IT deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and stability; oversees and leads corporate projects, systems implementations and other application changes; works as a liaison to the project and technology team to communicate testing needs and requirements; works closely with business and technology partners utilizing both business requirements and technical requirements to develop testing strategy, facilitate the creation and execution of test scripts, track and help resolve defects and ensure that all testing is conducted and documented in adherence with IT Quality Assurance standards; applies proven testing methodologies to support the delivery of quality IT deliverables, ensuring that changes are on-time and on-budget, to specification and with the highest quality; works with the team to mitigate risk, bridging the gap between current and desired quality levels by balancing short-term needs with long-term perspectives of success; provides leadership and guidance to the members of the IT Quality Assurance team as well as providing IT Quality leadership for all members of IT and the business teams as needed. Starting salary for this position is $96,561 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications:* Required Education and Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience working in Quality Assurance or another role supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); or 2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time experience working in Quality Assurance or another role supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); or 3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency and the equivalent of nine (9) years of full-time experience working in Quality Assurance or another role supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience with test management tools, experience writing test plans, strategies and test cases as well as experience producing test status reports. They will also have experience working in the software development lifecycle and experience documenting requirements, use cases or user stories.
