The Power & Controls Phoenix, AZ location is currently looking for a summer intern for 2024 interested in Industrial Engineering. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June-August; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Industrial Engineer Intern will work on-site with all functions of the manufacturing team to improve productivity and process maturity. The role will offer opportunities to lead cost saving initiatives throughout the site and to have a true impact on the financial success of the team. Activities can include kaizen events, time studies, digital solutions, and layout and flow optimization.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD – 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
