Rural Resources Community Action has an open position for a Title XIX Medicaid Case Manager (Pullman, WA). RRCA is a non-profit organization that provides social services to those in need in Eastern Washington. As a Title XIX Medicaid Case Manager, you would be developing/implementing/monitoring long-term care services to Medicaid recipients, administering department comprehensive and reporting/evaluation assessments, as well as assisting the care receiver in developing a plan of care while meeting quality assurance measures.
The qualities we are looking for include the ability to conduct in-person/remote comprehensive assessments, provide case management services, authorize services and monitor, provide client advocacy/consultation, maintain system and record keeping, manage client-related requests, asses vulnerable adult risk, and determine capabilities. With knowledge of Medicaid (terminology/regulations), and DSHS (database systems).
To apply for this position, you would need a Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, criminal law/justice, or an allied field and two to three years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.
This position of Title XIX Medicaid Case Manager is a full-time position (36 hours per week) with benefits. Basic benefits are a life insurance policy for $12,000 while you are employed with RRCA and access for you and your family to our Employee Assistance Program. Other benefits include your choice of three medical health programs, dental and vision insurance, and other auxiliary insurance programs.
Pay for this position starts at $21.65-$36.06 per hour. After successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase. As a regular employee you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA.
