Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Project Coordinator to work with our Fortune 500 technology client. Position is a 12-month contract role that could go permanent for the right candidate.

Job Title: Project Coordinator (Security)

Pay: $49.11/hr

Location: Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Miami, or Seattle

SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager for the Americas Security team with general project management responsibilities, quality assurance, and administrative tasks. The right person for this role is a self-starter who thrives in an “all hands on deck” environment, loves problem-solving, and can move quickly as a builder and doer in a tech-enabling, data-driven culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Management (60%): This role will support the Program Manager with project management support for the Americas Security Team, including:

• Updates necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
• Creates monthly project status report for the Program Manager and Director of Security.
• Evaluates potential problems and technical hitches, develop solutions, and escalate appropriately
• Provides input on project planning standards and project tracking methodology
• Provide ad hoc project support as needed based on leadership request or team need

• Administrative Support (40%)

• Works collaboratively to put together weekly highlight reports for the Director of Security, Senior Director, and Chief Trust and Security Officer.
• Writes and provides ad hoc reports as requested
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and standardization for the team
• Helps create trackers and frameworks for team metrics
• Manages team documentation and ensures all are up to date and accurate

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic understanding of corporate physical security operations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively to a broad audience.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Google Suite. Advanced proficiency in using Excel or Google Sheets, as well as Google Slides.
• An eye for data and numbers, comfortable creating and managing complex spreadsheets.
• Ability to function independently with moderate supervision; awareness of when to engage other colleagues.
• A collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads
• Enjoys creative problem solving and developing new, efficient and effective processes.
