Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Application Developer to work with the Laboratory for Computer Science Research ( LCSR ) in support of the Computer Science (CS) Department, the School of Arts and Sciences ( SAS ) and the University. This position requires a mix of systems, programming, operations, instructional, and communication skills. Having a data science and/or an instructional background is beneficial.
Technical activities include identifying, developing, operating, supporting and maintaining data science tools, automated grading systems, cloud grade manage systems, feedback and annotation systems, coding systems, portals, and others. Non-technical activities include creating student and faculty documentation on the tools and services provided, holding in-person and recorded demonstrations and instructional sessions, helping faculty prepare assignments and data, handling multi-tier help desk support, and others.
