SHIFT: M-F, 830am – 5pmEST hours

We are looking for an up-and-coming Project Coordinator/Business Analyst to join our rapidly growing IT finance and payroll team. This customer-facing, direct-hire opportunity is open due to growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with internal business users in the financial services and payroll space in order to understand their needs.
• Gather requirements for custom enhancements that they want for a variety of financial and payroll systems.
• Utilize a waterfall methodology to SDLC in order to perform your tasks. Those who only work in Agile or who highly prefer Agile will not be a fit for this role.
• Become a subject matter expert in the systems that you will be working with. If you have experience in the financial services/payroll IT space, that’s a plus but is not required.
• Work on requests for new enhancements and fixes to issues in the system.
• Utilize SQL to run data queries.
• Analyze requests for impact, benefit, cost and risk and share your findings with management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, or Project Manager role where you are working with business users in the financial space along with SDLC.
• Must be OK working with Waterfall methodologies for the foreseeable future.
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and manage working relationships with business users.
• Understanding enterprise-level financial, payroll and human resources systems is a huge plus for this position.
• Experience with writing SQL Queries is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
