About the Role 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Porter, to provide resident support at James Wattie Retirement Village.

This is a  part time position working Saturday 0830 – 1630 and Sunday 1630 – 2330. You will also need to be available for additional hours on call.

In this role you will often be working independently to: 

• Welcome all visitors and new independent residents and provide assistance and direction as necessary
• Help settle residents into their new homes
• Managing resident enquiries, and covering reception.
• Be responsible for answering emergency call bells 24/24 of our independent residents
• Providing first aid, or calling emergency services as required.
• General cleaning and administration duties
• Assist at Open Days and functions for visitors, residents and families to the village
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues.
