RWJBH is seeking a Coordinator in our Cardiac Rehab departments for the New Brunswick campus. This is a full time, day position (40 hours/week).
Job Summary:
The Coordinator in the Cardiac Rehab departments will work directly with patients in the registration and admission process by obtaining and collecting accurate and complete patient information, insurance information, and patient financial responsibility at the time of registration. The Coordinator will schedule inpatients and outpatients and coordinate with internal departments and outside facilities to ensure patient care, provide resources, and support department flow are prioritized and utilized appropriately.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced office setting required.
Healthcare and/or hospital experience with a knowledge of medical terminology required.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
