What you’ll be doing…
We’re looking for someone to help scale Tableau’s evangelism program. You’ll be creating processes and communication plans that amplify and measure the impact of this program. You’ll be working closely with the evangelists, helping develop and prioritize work. You’ll be sharing updates across the organization and advising on where their work can be used to fit Tableau’s goals. You’ll also work with the evangelists to refine ideas and opportunities: bringing your creativity and wisdom to the table. This exciting role requires a mixed skill set: you’ll be doing content marketing, project management, enablement and creative brainstorming.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…
Program enablement
Collaborate with internal communications teams to amplify evangelism work with tools including: the creation and publishing of an internal evangelism newsletter, and developing a Smarp channel to promote employee social advocacy of evangelism work.
Build and maintain a central content library for Evangelism, collaborating with communications and PR teams to extend reach across geographies
Build and maintain internal and external visibility for the existing series If Data Could Talk, Chart Chat and Sweet Spot.
Create and monitor a set of KPIs to measure the success of the program.
Lead quarterly Evangelism QBRs.
Project management:
Manage the pipeline of evangelism work, from initial idea to publication
Build an operational process to define how marketing and sales requests evangelism support
Work with our internal marketing team to build requirements for go-to-market
Creative thinking:
Content marketing: (pitch and package IDCT)
Evaluate speaking opportunities for evangelists in industry and non-industry events.
Work with evangelist on new themes and opportunities (content brainstorming, content strategy, identifying speaking opportunities and partnerships, etc)
Who you are …
You’re a versatile marketing professional, able to get stuck in and work with multiple groups, seeking out the opportunities to amplify evangelism work in support of the larger goals of Tableau’s marketing, sales and customer success organisations.
Experience : 3+yrs in communications, marketing program or project management. Experience working with influencers and spokespeople is an asset.
Problem solver and program builder . An ability to implement new processes and lead them to success.
Strategic .You need to be able to synthesize information from multiple sources and create actionable plans from those.
Excellent communication. You will be working with multiple stakeholders and must be able to articulate proposals clearly.
Data literacy and data culture authority. You’ll be bouncing ideas around with the evangelists, so need to be able to contribute your own creativity to these areas.
Accountability. Deep sense of accountability and the ability to own large projects from start to finish.
Entrepreneurial. Strong ambitious drive and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
