What you’ll be doing…

The Senior Brand Strategist is a critical role to build brand strategy that leads and informs how Tableau translates product innovation and key differentiators into new market opportunities, strategic storytelling, and an elevation of Tableau’s reputation. You will work to continue building a brand that customers love, while also forecasting areas of perception Tableau needs to land.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…
Drive the development and execution of our brand narrative and strategy, and apply the work to key parts of our portfolio
Build the brand discipline, bringing fresh thinking and brand strategy best practices to enable marketing and beyond
Author brand materials, create messaging frameworks, help facilitate the creative process, and actively contribute to and manage the production of all brand creative.
Work closely with internal research and competitive intelligence teams to bring key insights that inform brand campaigns and experiences
Work closely with digital media teams to inform omnichannel or merchandising opportunities for Tableau
Collect and develop key insights to support brand voice, style, and personality evolution of the brand
Work closely with Salesforce brand leads and inform strategy for how the Tableau shows up within Salesforce
Mentorship: Senior Brand Strategist is a key leader in the organization and should work to proactively teach and mentor the broader organization around brand best practices, opportunities, and evolution of the brand. The Senior Brand Strategist should be an internal evangelist for the brand.
Who you are …
Experienced . 7+ years Brand strategy or Brand Research marketing. Experience using technology that supports building, planning, and executing communications.
Domian. Expert storyteller and communicator. Business acumen and proven frameworks/methodologies
Leader. Mentor and experience leader of programs or teams
Passion and Conviction. Organizational, coordination, planning, and project/program management skills.
Excellent Communication. Verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
Go-Getter. Self-directed and resourceful. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Problem Solver. Ability to identify problems and raising issues at the right time.
Results Oriented. Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Data-driven . Experience working with brand-related research to inform recommendations and measure results. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
