The Trailblazer Connect team at Salesforce helps job seekers to learn the skills they need to get hired into companies in the Salesforce ecosystem. We provide learning opportunities, free resources, mentorship opportunities, and help connect job seekers to employers.
Role Description:
We are looking for a Workforce Development Manager to lead the workforce development vision and programs to fill the mission of serving underrepresented minorities and community-led workforce training programs in the Salesforce ecosystem. We are advocates and motivators, working across employers, non-profits, and internal departments to ensure collaboration, visibility, and successful delivery of cross-functional programs that support job seekers in finding jobs in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Your Impact:
Program Management – Launch the Workforce Partner Program at scale. Achieve desired business outcomes by leading a sophisticated cross-functional program with multiple workstreams.
Collaboration – Effectively manage and lead internal and external relationships to deliver program objectives. Maintain program relationships with training organizations via internal team members globally. Plan quarterly advisory board to bring together programs to share standard methodologies, collaborate on graduate outcomes, build employer partnerships, collect feedback, and share program updates.
Drive alignment – Manage key relationships that include Salesforce Partner Team, Trailhead Academy, Global Go To Market Team, Racial Equality and Justice Task Force, and more.
Optimize – Drive continuous improvement, build standard methodologies, challenge the status quo and proactively identify gaps and opportunities. Deliver operational excellence.
Evangelize and engage – Build a community of practice through a private Trailblazer Community group, partnering with Trailblazer Connect, Talent Alliance, and Community teams on the community content & engagement.
Advocate – Drive both equality in organizational support and equity in access to program resources in order for training programs to be successful across the community,
Manage risk – Continuously supervise program exposure and ensure appropriate risk communication, critical issue, and risk mitigation plans are in place.
Standardize – Maintain branding & messaging of Workforce Partner programs with a beginner’s mentality to address benefits, value, and community collaboration.
Measurement and reporting – Define and regularly report key program metrics to team members. Drive data-driven decision-making across the program.
You are someone who:
Has outstanding organizational and time leadership skills
Can multitask, support multiple workstreams, and keep them moving forward
Can understand the needs and processes of a non-profit organization
Understands how to run a program at scale
Is an excellent communicator who understands the level of detail needed for each team member group
Is collaborative and can establish relationships across organizations
Can articulate business requirements to a technology team
Is comfortable experimenting and learning from failures
Can manage a program and project, but also get things done
Can work independently and quickly
Is comfortable with change and dynamic requirements
You have experience with:
Project management
Presenting to executives and key team members
Working with organizations outside of your own
Building applications or workflows in Salesforce or other tools
Collaborating across regions and time zones
Participating in a community
Building programs from the ground-up
Recording and reporting program results
Software tools like google sheets, google slides, and basic project management tools
For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $99,200. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
