What you’ll do
– Design and develop scalable data stores and frameworks with sub-second query latency on highly multi-dimensional data
– Engineering solutions to aggregate and automate large scale data flows from varying sources
– Build real time streaming pipelines that deliver data with measurable quality under the SLA
– Ability to effectively communicate ideas to peers and distributed teams, delivering products with top notch quality in a fast-paced environment
– Contributing towards building a system with a test-driven development / agile approach
– Collaborate with other team members in breaking down tasks and implementation of the initiatives all the way to release
– Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results
– Champion best practices for high availability, scalability and reliability of data processing components

What we’re looking for
Skills and Qualifications
– Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar formal education
– Experience with large-scale distributed systems as pertains to data storage and computing
– Extensive experience with Amazon AWS technologies S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis or similar cloud offerings
– Strong development skills in Python
– Advanced disciplinary knowledge in data technologies like Airflow, Spark, SQL
– Experience with full stack development and building services on the data stack
– Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
– Good knowledge of Tableau, capable of preparing data source
– Proven 3+ years of experience in applying required skills in advanced and meaningful set of projects
Bonus Skills
– AWS certification
– Experience with DevOps work (ex. building micro services using Kubernetes, Docker, TFE)
– Experience in Data Analytics, and Data Visualization
– Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages (ex. Java, bash, Node JS, etc.)
– Knowledge of various databases (SQL/NoSQL)
– Experience in data analytics and data Visualization
– Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
– Hands-on understanding of scalability and high availability systems
– Knowledge of Azure and Google data cloud solution
– Experience in mobile services for enterprise market and related services
