Job Summary
- We’re looking for a resourceful self-motivated researcher who is passionate about being a voice for users, loves staying on top of current innovations, and collaborates well with a variety of colleagues. What you’ll do
– Collaborate with stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with designers, product managers, and executives to determine research needs and timelines
– Plan research: Create research plans using appropriate quantitative/qualitative methods and participants to uncover actionable customer insights
– Prioritize opportunities: Work with other UXRs and stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
– Recruit participants: Help recruit and schedule suitable research participants.
– Primary research: Independently conduct research, using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and web analytics, to explore user behaviors and pain points
– Analyze data: Analyze and synthesize research data (and available data from other teams) to uncover actionable insights and make recommendations
– Socialize insights: Actively socialize research findings to diverse audiences, through many channels and formats, to guide product design and strategy decisions
– Contribute to research practice: Contribute to the creation and refinement of research processes and tools to increase the – UXR team’s standards, productivity, and impact

What we’re looking for
Skills and Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
– Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience planning and conducting primary UX research in industry (e.g., tech company, digital design agency)
– Experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods
– Experience creating a variety of research deliverables and artifacts, such as presentation slide decks, videos, infographics, and journey maps
– Best practices for user-centric design and UX/HCI research
– Deeply understands the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods including when and how to apply them during each product phase
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively inform and guide others
– Able to skillfully conduct semi-structured 1:1 user interviews with a variety of users
– Able to work flexibly and efficiently, balancing time constraints, various priorities, and rigorous research in order to move quickly from planning to completing a project
– Able to collaborate well with colleagues from different teams and cultures.
– Natural tendency to proactively look for ways to improve products/processes, take initiative, and deliver results
– Innate curiosity about people and desire to improve their experience with our products
Bonus Qualifications
– UX research/design experience in an enterprise software, mobile, global and/or SaaS company
