Sanders Candy Hiring for Candy Maker! at Clinton Township, MI Full Time

We have openings for full time Candy Makers at our candy factory located at 23770 Hall Road in Clinton Township, Michigan. As a vital member of our Kitchen Team, the Candy Maker/Cook assists in the creation of our famous confections.

We have an openings on all shifts! Our shifts are full-time hours Monday through Friday.

1st shift = 6:30a – 3p

2nd shift = 2p – 11p

3rd shift = 10:30p-7a

Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work Saturday and Sunday as needed.

The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manually transferring cooled caramel tubs weighing approximately 50 lbs. each repeatedly to production line;
• Cleaning and sanitizing the equipment used to make candy;
• Starting and continuing the production line using established guidelines;
• Quality control of caramel squares on production line to check for weight & uniformity
• Tracking inventory using ERP system;
• Following company safety rules and regulations;
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED;

• Self-directed;

• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors;

• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production lines running efficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hours;
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently;
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
