The Crisis & Business Continuity Managers mission is:

• to ensure the delivery and update of consistent and effective business continuity plans (BCP) for sites, countries with an emphasis on best practices and increasing levels of maturity.

• to ensure support for existing crisis management and business continuity training programs

• to actively support Sanofi’s response in case of a real crisis or business disruption

Main responsibilities:

Business Continuity

• Coordinate network of Business Continuity Coordinators (awareness, training, simulation gaming)

• Support draft and maintain consistent and effective Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for countries, sites according to best practices at the highest maturity level.

• Perform and update Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Gap analysis.

• Ensure BCPs are regularly tested and close deficiencies and gaps

• Manage or support BC exercise

• Use, maintain and upgrade Business Continuity tools and digital applications

• Coordinate with ITS to ensure that Disaster Recovery solutions are integrated into BCPs and meet business requirements

• Define and assess vendor/service provider resiliency

• Support drafting of Business Continuity training materials and train teams on Business Continuity knowledge and skills.

• Support teams during a business disruption leading to activate BCP

• Monitor and track BC activities with adequate and relevant business continuity KPI’s

Crisis Management

• Support draft and maintain consistent and effective Crisis Response Plans for countries, sites according to best practices at the highest maturity level.

• Support teams to respond to real crisis

• Support draft of crisis management training materials

• Manage or support crisis exercise

About you

• Experience:

  • Proven business continuity or crisis experience

  • 3 years of relevant experience in similar position

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus

• Soft skills:

  • Strong knowledge of matrix processes and organization

  • Strong leadership and coordination skills

  • Demonstrated experience in building education and training programs

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • English fluent, both written and oral

• Education: Prefer Certifications from Disaster Recovery International Institute (DRII) or The Business Continuity Institute (BCI)

• Languages: English fluent, both written and oral

• Others:

  • this position requires frequent travel to the region

  • this position requires the incumbent to be available on call 24 hours/day in case of a crisis

  • this position will suit an individual who is able to operate with discretion and confidentiality about sensitive data
