Within the Center of Expertise (CoE) our job is to help our customers Plan, Design, Build and Run SAP solutions securely. As a COE Consultant your will tasks will include:
Lead workshops on overall design and approach to SAP security across all of our client’s SAP systems, in the area of Single Sign-on, Secure Network Architecture, Encryption,
Act as a trusted advisor, being persuasive and assertive in influencing our customers on SAP Security
Assess, identify and communicate issues/risks to the customer
Support our customers on audit and compliance activities.
Influence our Support Portfolio
Grow your knowledge and skills additionally into wider SAP security realm.
Handling of operational day-to-day support activities for technical security
What you bring
We are looking for a self-starter who possesses core basis skills on NW JAVA, ABAP, HANA but with a keen interest and focus on security topics. Our customers demand that our solutions run securely, if the life blood of the digital economy is data then ensuring that data is kept safe and secure is its beating heart. IT landscapes are changing from on premise to Hybrid and Cloud and our customers rely on us to advise them on how to ensure that they are secure. Within the Center of Expertise (CoE) our job is to help our customers Plan, Design, Build and Run SAP solutions securely. You should have a very focused mentality and proven track record of learning quickly and delivering real results to our customers. It is critical that you also have a mentoring and coaching philosophy.
You should possess, Strong SAP Basis profile with experience in HANA, NW JAVA and ABAP and experience of network topology, firewall, DMZ configuration with strong ability to troubleshoot.
Experience in following technologies: IPS, IAS, SAML, JAAS, WS-Security, OAuth, SSL/TLS, SSH, Kerberos/SPNEGO, X.509, Authentication and SAP Single Sign-On 3.0, Secure Communication, Encryption (Public-key encryption and digital signatures) will greatly help you to win this role. Hands on Knowledge of XS Advanced Security with regards to authentication and authorisation a definite plus it would be also beneficial to have a strong level in programming Languages: JAVA programming, JAVA SCRIPT or ABAP programming.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Graduated with an Honours Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Physics/Mathematics/Engineering or related discipline
Excellent customer focus, teamwork and communication skills (oral/written)
Fluent in written and spoken English
