Purpose and Objectives

We are looking for a driven student who can make a meaningful impact to the development of an internal website at SAP. The website aims to facilitate gamified micro-learning in an engaging way for a variety of business purposes.

Roles and Tasks

We have several different roles that an intern could fulfill within our team:

• Frontend development,
• Backend development,
• User Interface/User Experience design,
• Manual or automated testing,
• Or any combination of the above.

For development roles we could expect you to be:

• Taking responsibility for Jira issues
• Investigating and implementing solutions
• Testing your solutions
• Going through review processes (including reviewing code)

Education and Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s in Information Technology (or similar), preferably majoring in Computer Science
• Very familiar with Git/GitHub
• Experience with web development in general
• At least some experience with database design
• Experience with Vue.js (preferred), or other similar frameworks if frontend is preferred
• Experience with Java (preferred) or another similar object-oriented language if backend is preferred
• At least some experience with scrum methodologies
