Job title: Officer Administrator and General Labourer
Location: Tauranga Otumoetai (Bay of Plenty) North Island, In ward and out bound travel required and driving will be required.

Other: Must be able to drive a Manual UTE and be able to tow a single and double axel trailer and have own reliable vehicle

Working Hours per week: +-38 40 hours
Monday to Thursday 7:30am 16:30 pm and
Friday: 7:30 13:30
(working overtime and weekends will be required, Sufficient notice will be given, however due to the nature of the business and contracting obligations this is not always predictable)
Rate per hour: 24-30 NZD per hour (weekly wage), average weekly wage of +-1000 NZD depending on skills, experience and final working hours per a week.

(Job Description) Here is what to expect on a day to day basis:
Morning Duties: General Office duties and administration, MD Diary Management, assisting with supplier and site meetings, ensuring that milestones and project deadlines are met as well as budgets carefully maintained and reporting overspending and presenting or strategizing with Managing Director as to where to improve spending and achieve saving on stocked and non-stock items. Ensuring weekly inventory / stock take is done and stock and tools replenished within respectable lead-time. Minimum, maximum and Buffer stock levels, booking in stock and booking out stock to assigned purchase orders and set up automatic generation of purchase requisitions via platformsEnsuring hard copies of documentation and collation of documents are auto generated via platforms. Liaising with clients and advising progress of work via communication platforms (telephone, cellular phone, teams, zoom, outlook, WhatsApp business chat etc.), gathering information regarding ARCPs for Asbestos related renovations, removals and new installations,
Ad-hoc/ other; Setting up key supplier accounts, develop relationship by on boarding suppliers, and assist with creditor and debtor applications and liaising with contract accounting firm as and when required on behalf of the assigned accountant contractor and find practical ways to streamline and improve payment and payment due process. As well as all duties associated to debtors and creditors duties and capturing on Xero, presenting profit and loss statements as well as co coordinating key activities with accountant for tax purposes.
Midday/Afternoon Duties:
Assist with general cleaning after clearance of A & B Asbestos sites, be prepared to go on site and assist with general cleaning in private and business establishments, removing of general waste and taking to landfills as well as driving asbestos waste to asbestos landfills, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning carpets, removing basic materials such as nails, screws, staples, general painting and filler touch ups, light sanding the end objective is to ENSURE site/s is presentable for handover within in a reasonable timeframe back to vendor or contractor as prescribed in the ARCP/ Contract. No two sites are the same so candidate must be an all-rounder cleaner and general do it yourself person to ensure this is a turnkey handover.
Job pre-requites: Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Business Management / Procurement or similar qualification and proven experience with General Domestic Cleaning.
Contract duration: Contract of 12 months with option to permanent basis subject to change based on employer final assessment.
Other duties include:
Driving to and from destinations (i.e. meetings, suppliers, landfills, asbestos landfill sites, fetching office supplies and fetching clients or contractors to and from site, airport or as required), Availability of reliable well maintained vehicle employee can claim back fuel spend if required to use their own vehicle subject to slips and kms logbook readings. Must be able to pick, lift at least at least 30 kgs, climb ladders, scaffolding, willing to travel in and around North Island and restocking inventory to and from inventory store, storeroom to loading vehicle.
