Schneider Electric has an opportunity within the Sales Operations Technical Rotational Program for recent graduates with a Technical/ Engineering Diploma and interest in the commercial atmosphere. During this 12-month program, you will gain experience in two major areas in sales operations: quotations and project management. Our rotational program is designed to attract the best talent, evaluate, and develop future employees by provide a well-rounded experience of sales operations functions. At the end of the 12 months, a review with the graduate and Sales Operations management will determine the placement of a role based on preference, talents, and business needs.

What will you get to do in this position?

Quotation Specialist:
- Review RFQ’s for clarity of request, suitability for Schneider Electric product offering, and time given to complete.
- Match products to customer specifications and drawings by demonstrating knowledge of products.
- Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive.
- Maintain a current understanding of quote strategies and market conditions.

Project Management:
- Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders;
- Initiate and facilitate team and client meetings as needed;
- Review purchase orders and quotations with sales representatives to ensure clean order entry;
- Compile and issue drawings and packages;
- Diligently manage the processes and deadlines for deliverables while effectively communicating order status to relevant parties and maintaining applicable systems.
- Complete post shipment tasks such as warranty claims, product returns, updating order files, and resolving any claims or debit memos with distributors;
This job might be for you if:

Recent graduate (including Spring 2022) of a technical or engineering college program in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Previous experience in a commercial environment (sales, project management, quotations, etc.)

Spoken and written bilingual (French and English) fluency is a requirement for the position in Montreal, and preferred for Mississauga and Calgary/Edmonton
