Based in Australia, and working as part of this extended global team, the Cooling Solution Architect is primarily responsible for the management of Schneider Electric’s Cloud & Service Provider customers during all the Pre-Design phases where the cooling setup and layout of the Data Centre will be defined.

Based in Australia, and working as part of this extended global team, the Cooling Solution Architect is primarily responsible for the management of Schneider Electric’s Cloud & Service Provider customers during all the Pre-Design phases where the cooling setup and layout of the Data Centre will be defined.
In this position you are trusted to undertake your work in a way that best suits you, and your customer/stakeholder needs….supported by our world-leading Flexible Work Practices… that is, a great mix of working remotely, and also from our expertly designed “Work Place of the Future” city office locations.
What Will You Do:
- Maintain daily/frequent contact, and relationship building, with Global Strategic Accounts such as Internet Giants, CoLo & Service Providers
- Act as the main Technical single point of contact for Consulting companies and Local Schneider Electric entities, located where the new projects will be established.
- Improve upon established customer intimacy with VIP customers, and grow this connection with potential customers; bringing experiences/insights to foster Continuous Improvement.

Become a Trusted Advisor for End Users and Consultants, by means of:
- Quarterly meetings tailored to understand/solve customer needs/pains
- Visits for face to face discussions
- Visits to Data Centre in construction, or commissioning phase

Liaise, and collaborate, with internal stakeholders such as:
- Sales Teams responsible of the commercial offer to determine approach and prioritization
- Product Specialists/Tendering Teams, with a hand-over to be done once the final layout /setup is defined
- Research & Development responsible of Schneider Cooling Products, cooperating to identify the best solution to create added value the customer (hardware and software solutions)
(External) English Qualifications:
What Will Make You Successful:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree
- Demonstrated experience with Cooling matters on Data Centre applications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities, with particular focus to cross-cultural relationships
- Awareness about the Datacentre market and competition
- Knowledge about cooling products, i.e. inRoom – inRow – Chillers
