Assist Senior Manager with the total process for negotiating and executing permissions agreements for material including text, illustration, audio, video, and digital content for multiple editorial teams in a deadline-driven environment:
Assess permission needs by project
Gather and track rights information
Correspond with rights holders
Negotiate fees
Draft / review permission agreements
Process related fee payments
Maintain tracking records / departmental rights database
Deliver content credits/copyright lines
Assist Senior Manager and Finance with budgets for new programs
Provide support regarding trademark and copyright information in liaison with divisional rights team and corporate Legal and Contracts departments
Provide rights information to colleagues across all departments
Support Data Management team with tasks such as rights data entry into multiple databases, corporate systems, and shared MS Office files with a special emphasis on MS Excel
General administrative support for rights team, including: file organization, running reports, managing calendar/meeting setup, and various misc. tasks

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
3+ years’ experience preferred
BA / BS required
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
High energy, high functioning, positive and stabilizing attitude
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and process-driven environment
Expert Microsoft Office skills
FileMaker Pro, MS Access, and/or other database experience a plus
Multiple languages a plus
