Full-time position (35 hours/week)
Working under the direction of an Administrator, the Online Secretary is responsible for entering, tracking and manipulating student data using specialized software to maintain school and student information, records and produce a variety of reports. The Online Secretary has supervisory responsibilities for support staff and is responsible for the efficient operation of the online school office. The Online Secretary relieves the Administrator of organizational detail wherever possible by dealing with matters not requiring the Administrator’s personal attention.
Successful applicants must have:
Courses in computer software applications plus three years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Typing speed minimum of 60 wpm.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
