About the Role
Glasgow Personalisation a registered Care at Home and Housing Support Service, Staff work across all areas of Glasgow, supporting individuals with enduring mental health issues and complex needs.
The service supports individuals to enable them to regain necessary life skills and build resilience. The service is designed to deliver Low-high levels of support with independent living strongly promoted, gradually reducing staff intervention and enabling individuals to be confident in their abilities to move on from the service.
We are committed to providing care and support to our service users and are looking for a Team Leader who is equally dedicated to the provision of outcome focused person centred care.
The Team Leader will have full line management responsibility for staff across the service. They will report directly to the Service Manager and be responsible for the implementation of, and adherence to, all SAMH policies and procedures. Experience in the areas of managing and developing teams and working across sectors is also desirable.
The service is an appointment based service and is operational between 9am – 6pm, 7 days a week.
What we are looking for
We will expect you to establish strong and sustainable relationships in the community which will increase awareness and engagement of the project and promote building resilience to enable behaviour, culture and community change around stigma and discrimination.
You will be expected to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the service. You will act as staff and external agencies first point of contact and therefore building positive relationships and working as a multiagency team is a priority. As the Team Leader you will be required to complete all initial risk assessments for any new referrals accepted into the service.
You will work closely with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator to continue to develop and improve the service scheduling. IT skills and knowledge of Excel is desirable.
To be successful in this post you will meet the essential criteria, core competencies behaviour and skills listed in the role profile and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering outcomes for vulnerable adults; and knowledge and experience of working in the field of mental health and wellbeing.
