STAFF ACCOUNTANT (HYBRID)

Pay Range: $68,340-$94,342

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field (Finance, Mathematics)
• Three years of experience with General Ledger Accounting, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Financial Statement Analysis
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Reader/Pro
• Proven experience in working with high-net-worth clients or small business clients
• Proven experience working with multiple clients with multiple entities concurrently
• Some tax experience, CPA License preferred but not required

Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will apply accounting principles in the day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, administrative, and clerical support to high-net-worth clients and their related businesses, including analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for account payables and receivables; preparation of bank deposits, recording vendor invoices, and preparation of checks and wire transfers
• Assist clients with bookkeeping activities, including but not limited to monthly or quarterly reconciliation of bank, credit card, investment accounts, expense accounts, intercompany accounts, journal entries, preparing general ledgers, financial statements, and other reports as needed
• Interface with vendors and financial institutions on day-to-day transactions, oversee cash management and bank account transactions
• Process payroll for various clients based on company or client payroll schedule
• Prepare tax deposits, returns, and other filings required by federal, state, and local agencies; respond to regulatory agencies as needed.
• Preparation and filing of sales tax reports and annual 1099s as required
• Prepare detailed work papers and source docs monthly, quarterly, and annually as required for tax returns and reporting
• Perform client setup to include assisting with the preparation and execution of engagement letters for new clients and annual review of engagement letters for existing clients
• Responsible for accurately filing all electronic and paper source documents (scanning,labeling, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,340.00 – $94,342.00 per year
