Order Processing Specialist

Seal It Services, Inc. dba Bond It is a multi-national manufacturer of high-quality building chemicals, sealants, adhesives, coatings, and tapes.
We are looking for a new Order Processing Specialist in our Los Angeles office as we continue to expand and introduce new product lines to a growing customer base.

What would you do as an Order Processing Specialist?

You will utilize your critical-thinking, organizational and communication skills to contribute to a small, fast-paced team.

After training, you will perform all duties related to the processing and tracking of customer orders.

Providing excellent customer service is an integral part of this role, including direct communication with customers via phone, email and in-person regarding their order details, processing times, delivery, payment, disputes, and quality assurance . You will work with the fulfillment team and own the system functions required to process customer orders quickly and accurately and provide an excellent customer service experience.

Some of the tasks you will perform include:

– Receive, review, and input orders into system (phone/online/web)

– Acknowledge orders with customer, operating with urgency while ensuring accuracy

– Send processed orders to shipping/warehouse teams for fulfillment

– Invoice once fulfilled and collect payment according to payment terms

– Track open orders and backorders when applicable

– Answer general customer inquiries, including order status, availability, and pricing

– Case management during disputes, returns or quality control issues

– Open new customer accounts, work with sales team to set terms

The skills and experience you need are:

– Office Experience, 1 year minimum

– Experience processing customer orders, including RFQs

– Experience providing customer service in a professional setting

– Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel

– Experience with Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign or similar

– Experience with an ERP/CRM System, Sage preferred

– Experience with light accounting and reporting

– Experience with digital document archiving and filing

– Typing Skills, 35WPM+

– High School Diploma required

– Strong attention to detail – a typo or oversight during the order fulfillment process could have major potential for lost time and resources

– Strong organizational skills

– Strong basic math skills

– Ability to read and comprehend a variety of documents quickly and accurately

– Interact well with others in a professional setting, showing courtesy to customers and coworkers

– Be dependable, productive and contribute to the team’s goals with minimal supervision once trained

– Ability to work and adapt to a variety of support roles in the order fulfillment process

Job Details:

This is an in-person, full-time position. Working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will be working in our Gardena, CA location.
