Warehouse/ Storeperson (Full-Time)

We are an international supplier of world class filter technology. Our products are used in a variety of industries including electronics, architecture, medical, automotive and food. Here in New Zealand, we have a smaller footprint with approximately 8 staff in their Mount Wellington location. Right now, we have an opportunity for a mature and reliable Storeperson to join the team.

About the role

The primary responsibility of this role is stock control, packing and distribution of orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock control – ensuring shelves are tidy, stock rotation, advise shortages etc.
• Distribution of goods and meeting deadlines
• Managing the warehouse
• working with couriers, customers collecting orders and Management
• Picking, cutting, and re-packaging ordered stock
• Operating forklift
• General OH&S
• Ensuring a clean and tidy warehouse 
• Taking additional duties as and when required 

About You: 

• The ideal person for this role would be experienced, mature and steady. 
• You will be working with a small close-knit team so must be prepared to wear many hats. 
• Have a current forklift license
• Computer knowledge
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written 
• Physically fit and strong 
• Warehouse management & Inventory management experience 
• Proactive and able to meet deadlines 
• Able to take responsibility 
• Can work under pressure
