Segpay is a global payment platform, offering custom solutions including payment facilitator, direct merchant accounts and secure online payment gateway services. The company specializes in online credit card processing for e-commerce and subscription services for global merchants.

As the company continues to expand, we are looking to hire a Software Developer to join our team.

The Software Developer is responsible for including but not limited to delivering high quality solutions, contributing to planning sessions, creating technical solutions.

Essential Job Functions

In this dynamic role, the candidate will play a crucial part in implementing new features for the product, as defined by the Product Team. They will collaborate closely with the Development Team to ensure efficient and high-quality product deliverables. Troubleshooting performance and functionality issues is also a key responsibility, with a focus on diagnosing and fixing any issues that arise. In addition, they will proactively suggest improvements to enhance the product’s design and functionality. Writing and running automated tests is essential for maintaining product quality. As a reliable team player, they will assist the Product Team in overcoming any bottlenecks that arise during proposed feature expansions. Working closely with the Development Team, Product Manager, and Scrum Master, they will contribute to the overall success of the team. With a flexible approach, they will also undertake any other duties or projects as assigned to support the organization’s goals.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of Coding experience
• 2+ Experience programming in the JavaScript or C# Programming Language and any other .NET languages

This candidate must possesses a diverse range of skills and qualities that make them a valuable asset to any team. With expertise in the Git Version Control system, JQuery, HTML, and CSS, as well as familiarity with SQL Server Databases, they bring technological proficiency to the table. Their past experience in an agile/scrum environment demonstrates their ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Furthermore, their strong communication skills and passion for problem-solving combined with their detail-oriented and results-driven mentality showcase their dedication to excellence.
