The Role
Sailthru is looking for an engineer to join our team! We work in a supportive, results focused environment. Our systems span code embedded on customer web sites running on millions of devices around the world, back-end services processing thousands of requests per second, big data streaming and batch systems, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and more. We’re looking for engineers to help us deliver the next generation of features for our customers and partners with an eye for quality and stability.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll work across front-end, back-end and cloud tech stacks on an agile, product-aligned sprint team to design, build, and maintain our services.
- You’ll contribute to the technology strategy and long term technical roadmap for the platform, working with Product to find the right balance of feature and non-functional work.
- Use a variety of web, data & cloud technologies ranging from Go, Java, JavaScript (React and Node.js), AWS services, Kafka, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and more to accomplish your goals. We believe that great technologists are willing to learn new technologies, and we’re happy to help train you up if necessary!
- Help build our engineering culture. Participate in our engineering team meetings and events, Hack Days, and more.

- You’re someone who loves technology and cares deeply about the products you build and the customers who use them.
- You care about system performance, reliability, observability and want to help deliver solutions that operate at scale using elastic architectures and are leveraged by users around the globe.

- Experience with AWS, Kafka, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch is highly desirable.
- Experience working with remote and distributed teams is a plus.
