Administrative Assistant
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Administrative and Scheduling Assistant is a key member of the office staff and assists with the smooth flow of communications among all team members. This individual will be one of the first individuals whom Clients and Caregivers speak with, so a friendly, caring and approachable demeanor is of utmost importance. The job duties include assisting in the development and management of client/caregiver schedules; managing incoming calls, ensuring accurate information is provided and appropriate individuals are consulted; ensuring offices supplies are available and adequately stocked; ordering and maintaining an adequate uniform stock; other office duties such as filing, stocking, and preparation of necessary documents as needed. This position will also assist with the management of Senior Homecare by Angels on-line presence.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate(s) related to the position. A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently, and diplomatically verbally and in writing
Must demonstrate a compassionate attitude and a strong commitment to service excellence
Experience with content development, website and social media management. Must have strong IT skills and knowledge base.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated abilities in creative and professional writing and research, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
Must be highly dependable with excellent organization skills
A strategic thinker and planner – ability to anticipate, analyze and think through issues, problems and generate new ideas; strive for innovation
Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: $16.25-$17.75 per hour
