Sequoia Living Hiring for Receptionist (On Call) Job at San Francisco, CA Full Time

We are looking for an individual to receive and direct visitors in a positive manner and operates telephone system to receive and direct incoming calls. If you are excited about the opportunity to make a difference every day, then this might be for you!

What You Will Do:

• Receives visitors, determines nature of visit and directs accordingly.
  Handles incoming calls, takes and refers messages; operates paging system.
• Greets in-house residents; provides general information and referrals to inquiries.
• Performs related clerical work such as typing, filing, sorting, distributing mail and the like for administrative staff.
• Accepts deliveries from friends or relatives of residents such as flowers, packages and mail and handles accordingly.
• Refers requests as appropriate for outside services including telephone, elevators and other services. May complete work orders as necessary for some residents.
• Keeps a variety of routine records and supplies as required for the reception desk.
• Performs related work as required.

• You can use tact and courtesy in dealing with residents under sometimes trying conditions. You can show patience and understanding.
• You like your days do be varied, can handle a fast-paced environment, and don’t mind working under pressure.
