Our mission is to offer customers the widest selection of digital video content including Amazon original content and make it trivially easy for them to enjoy it wherever and whenever they want. We are just getting started in Mexico and Spanish speaking LATAM with Amazon Prime Video, but have very ambitious goals to become a leading player in the video entertainment industry and delight our customers with a great service and broad content.

We are looking for a Merchandising Manager who is responsible for supporting engagement and driving automation across multiple marketing channels. Their main responsibilities span from identifying clear customer cohorts, test new programs to drive engagement and automate them once proved successful, as well as test content creatives, so ability to design and measure content results is important. This person will execute across a broad range of merchandising tools and placements and will have to find ways to reduce repetitive task by automating programs.

The successful candidate will be data-driven and very action oriented; they should be comfortable in a fast pace test and try environment, where they complete multiple activities across a broad range of skills. They balance creativity with analytics and agility with operational discipline. They should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics and be comfortable diving deep into the data.

He/She will be responsible for driving engagement and acquisitions through the Owned and Operated (O&O) channels (PV Storefront, Outbound and Cross-site) across website, mobile and living room devices (LRD) experiences. Their goal is to drive the best-in-class CX by (1) building and managing the O&O inventory calendar for multiple channels (storefront, cross-site and outbound), (2) executing campaigns that feature new movie and TV content, (3) crafting plans for targeting and launching promotional campaigns and seasonal events, and (4) developing and testing messaging, content segmentation, and customer segmentation strategies (across Prime and non-Prime customers) to increase customer engagement. She/He also contributes to the development and testing of new product features, working closely with internal Product and Tech teams.

Job responsibilities

1) Creating and scheduling merchandising campaigns to PV-homepages across website, mobile-apps and living room devices,

2) Collaborating across business lines and with internal teams to manage calendar and share of voice (SOV) allocation across high-visibility placements and devices,

3) Partnering with marketing and content acquisition teams to craft and execute promotional events and bespoke content launches,

4) Optimizing content campaigns, messaging and navigation through A/B testing and data-analysis, documenting results, and sharing best-practices,

5) Working closely with Product and Tech teams to test and implement new features and influence product roadmap based on PV requirements and priorities,

6) Identifying opportunities for content scheduling and process efficiency and automation, working cross-functionally to implement them,

7) Own and execute ongoing communications such as email, push notifications, and onsite local banner campaigns in collaboration with the International marketing team,

8) Work with Business Intelligence team to conduct analysis and reporting across all acquisition and engagement internal marketing channels.

• Effective analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
• Experience in either e-commerce, consumer technology or the film/streaming industry
• Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills and workflow management
• MBA preferred
