In this newly created position, we are seeking a financial controller to join our team. You could be a senior accountant or financial accountant ready to take the next step in your career. You will be led by our amazingly talented Associate Director of Finance, who is there to support your continued career growth.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimise financial performance.
• Managing accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls
• You’ll lead a talented team of finance specialists, coaching and mentoring them to become even better.
• You’ll be the bridge to other departments like Sales, HR and Operations
• Working with the CFO and AD Finance, you’ll build a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team.

Sounds like you’re a fit? Then you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Degree qualified with minimum CA qualifications.
• A proven track record of success in payroll operations.
• Deep knowledge of NZ Accounting standards – you know the drill!
• Stellar analytical and problem-solving skills – think outside the box (but stay accurate!).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities – you’ll be inspiring the team!
• To be commercially astute in your decision making
